A Proteomics and Functional Genomics core facility was established at UW Oshkosh to:

  1. foster cutting-edge, integrative, and interdisciplinary proteomics and functional genomics research in northeastern Wisconsin
  2. provide student training opportunities in timely, state-of-the-art techniques used in modern life science research today.
  3. enhance and enrich life science curricula across northeastern Wisconsin

Our Core is unique. . .

  • UW Oshkosh is one of a very few primarily undergraduate institutions (PUIs) to have such advanced instrumentation on-campus

  • Our goal is to provide access to this instrumentation not only for UW Oshkosh students and faculty, but also for area student and faculty researchers from area institutions
